Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Manager to join our team at ABB. As a key member of our Supply Chain organization, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and excellence.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead Supply Planning, Inventory Management, and Resource Management in the LBU or LPG, ensuring timely delivery of customer orders and optimal inventory levels.
  • Develop and implement supply planning initiatives to improve customer on-time delivery and lead-time, while maintaining accurate sales and supply plan adherence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory management processes, including raw materials, work-in-progress, finished goods, and project units.
  • Run short-term planning processes, connecting material planning with execution, and coordinate responses to unplanned events.
  • Provide local leadership for the development of best practices in planning systems and integrated ERPs, ensuring compliance with PCW, Material, and VCP budget requirements.

Your Background:

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • +8 years of experience in Materials, Planning, Supply Chain in an ETO environment.
  • Knowledge of SAP TORQUE and APICS, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and English Advanced Level.
