Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Project Lead to join our team at Globallogic. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for leading and managing software development activities, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage software development activities, including planning, execution, and delivery of projects.
  • Develop and maintain detailed software development plans, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and project management, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Ensure software engineering deliverables meet or exceed quality expectations, and are delivered on-time.
  • Lead and coordinate with the engineering team to prioritize software engineering resources, and ensure effective utilization of resources.
  • Act as the primary interface between internal groups for software issues and concerns, and coordinate with external teams as needed.
  • Track day-to-day activities of the software development team, and drive issues to closure.
  • Drive adoption and implementation of NSNADC Software Development Process, and ensure compliance with industry-standard software development processes.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in software development, with a minimum of 2 years in technical leadership/technical program management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical systems in simple terms.
  • Ability to lead a cross-functional engineering team, challenge team members where necessary, and motivate the team to deliver excellent results.
  • Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC), SDLC management tools, and requirements management/ALM tools.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard software development processes, including the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Ability to understand software design of a complete embedded system, and experience working with 32-bit microcontrollers.
  • Understanding of software development life cycle, MISRA-C standards, and interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with customers and multi-cultural teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's in Electrical, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
  • Experience with ASPICE, Functional Safety, and Cyber Security.
  • Broader understanding of the project and its dependencies, and ability to create/manage/maintain SW deliverable timing and content plan.
