About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a software engineer passionate about open source software, Linux, Ubuntu Server, and the public clouds. As a software engineer at Canonical, you will have the opportunity to work with our experienced team and contribute to the development of Ubuntu Server.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate proactively with a distributed team to develop high-quality software.
- Write high-quality code to create new features and debug issues.
- Review code produced by other engineers and discuss ideas to find good solutions.
- Work from home with occasional global travel for internal and external events.
- Become involved in the planning of new Ubuntu features and assist in the maintenance of Ubuntu Server packages.
