We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Specialist - Architecture to join our team at Mindtree Ltd. Key Responsibilities- Design and develop secure, high-quality production code, and review and debug code written by others.
- Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems.
- Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture.
- Lead communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies.
- Add to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
- Formal training or certification on Java, Java 8 or newer, J2EE, Spring/Spring Boot, and related technologies, with 5 years applied experience.
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods.
- Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
- Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.).
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems.
- Practical cloud-native experience, namely AWS, Cloud Foundry.
- Hands-on experience with web technologies (e.g., HTTP, XML, REST, HTML, etc.) and building applications with microservice architecture or API concepts.
- Experience with distributed streaming platform Kafka and knowledge of IBM MQ message broker.
- Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.).
- Experience with web-based version control tools (e.g., GIT, Bitbucket).
- Experience in DevOps, build, deployment, integration, code management, and similar tools (e.g., Jenkins, Maven, automated deployment, etc.).
- Experience in developing software using domain-driven design (DDD) approach.
- Ability to negotiate, communicate, and deliver effective Automated Test solutions to both Development and QA teams.
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
