**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Technician to join our team at Collins Aerospace. As an Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for setting up and operating precision test equipment to align, troubleshoot, and test electrical equipment and systems.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Set up and operate precision test equipment to align, troubleshoot, and test electrical equipment and systems.
- Have a working knowledge of standard test equipment, oscilloscopes, ohmmeters, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and custom-made test equipment.
- Reprogram replacement equipment and determine possible failures.
- Align and adjust advanced electrical components on units being tested to ensure proper functioning of electrical circuits.
- Conduct a variety of functional tests to check operation and calibration of test stations, components, equipment, and systems.
- Analyze circuitry and physically check wiring and operation of various electronic parts, units, and systems components to locate malfunction causes.
- Perform difficult electrical/mechanical repair operations, including disassembly and assembly of units, and determine requirements for modifications.
- Examine customer units for potentially defective parts or conditions causing impairment or prevention of proper equipment operation.
- Communicate problems, observations, and estimates for repair effectively with supervision and/or customer.
- Research and provide an in-depth estimate for overhauls and required bulletins.
**Requirements**
- Unfinished studies in Electronics Engineering or Technical Degree.
- Good oral communication and knowledge of software management.
- 60% English proficiency.
- Basic handling of workshop tools and skills in handling electrical measurement equipment.
- Enthusiasm and commitment to work, discipline, and willingness to face challenges.
