Job Summary:

El Grande Group is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead our safety culture and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing EHS strategies to achieve company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement EHS strategies to achieve company objectives.
  • Lead emergency response teams and develop emergency response plans to ensure business continuity.
  • Develop and implement waste management programs to reduce waste generation and promote sustainability.
  • Collaborate with contractors to ensure compliance with EHS regulations and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication with leadership and employees to ensure EHS awareness and engagement.
  • Establish EHS objectives and targets to achieve zero accidents, energy, water, and waste reduction.

Requirements:

  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Experience as a manager with direct reports and experience mentoring and developing people.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and process-minded approach.
