About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Architecture Senior Specialist - Network to join our SAP Enterprise Cloud Services team. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to SAP's global strategy by supporting our customers with their SAP S/4 HANA adoption on their path to the Intelligent Enterprise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct technical and architectural discussions with customers to develop solution roadmaps.
  • Leverage integration approaches with various cloud solutions, business continuity (HA/DR) architecture, underlying network, and storage topology on hyperscaler platforms.
  • Own, lead, and sync network services-related operational tasks, mitigate network-related escalations, and contribute to network services process improvements.
  • Assist network operational activities of technical system landscapes on hyperscalers.
  • Identify current network service-related issues, define action plans, and drive resolution with the help of various network service providers.
  • Provide high-quality, stable network deliverables, operations across customer E2E lifecycle.
  • Utilize high availability solutions or disaster recovery architecture, network, and virtual technologies on hyperscalers.
  • Maintain a proactive, problem-solving, 'can-do' attitude and 'customer-first' mindset.
Requirements
  • Excellent network administration experience or support experience on any hyperscaler (AWS, MS Azure, or GCP).
  • Good knowledge of various architecture approaches for deployment on hyperscalers and hands-on experience in handling at least 1 migration End to End from on-premises to hyperscaler including network onboarding activities.
  • Solid knowledge and demonstrable experience in customer network infrastructure-related services, having a clear overview and understanding of all network services matrix which relates to people, process, and tools.
  • Expertise in at least 1 Hyperscaler technology (Azure/AWS/GCP), having an overall understanding of all Hyperscalers of onboarding, operation services in the network area.
  • Collaborative, passionate about network technology, with the ability to connect customers and all types of network service providers including architecture teams, and the ability to deescalate network-related issues when raised by providing network expertise.
  • Ability to work effectively as a virtual member of a dynamic, dispersed team (remote).
  • Ability to continuously acquire new knowledge and latest technologies in an independent and proactive way.
  • Understanding of SAP Solutions and related cloud technologies would be a plus.
