Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Prodensa. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services, and for implementing processes to prevent defects and improve overall quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct First Article Inspections (AS9102) to review and approve products
  • Collect, compile, and analyze data to determine root causes of problems and implement corrective actions
  • Participate in projects to reduce PPM (scrap) and improve OTD (on-time delivery)
  • Determine dispositions for nonconforming product and function as quality representative at Preliminary Review (PR) and MRB (Material Review Board) levels

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum one year of Quality Engineering experience or equivalent in an aerospace manufacturing environment
  • Experience in Metal Mechanical Companies
  • Knowledge of AS9100 (Internal Auditor) and First Article Inspections (AS9102)
  • Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) skills, including R&R Studies, CPK, Correlations, and Minitab
  • Management of Statistical Process Control (SPC)
  • Knowledge of Metrology and Supplier Quality
  • 8D (Troubleshooting Tool) skills
  • Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
  • Good understanding of DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control), FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and lean systems
