Main Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Purchasing Controller to join our team at Magna International Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and administration, with experience in SAP procurement modules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and validate savings and KMI monthly reports
  • Generate Gitterbox and monthly KPIs, as well as variance explanations
  • Support and lead target setting, forecasting, and BP23 projections development
  • Follow up on Purchasing EBIT Roadmap actions and risk mitigation strategies
  • Review and reflect on month-end accruals for risks closed in process
  • Track PARs and set up reviews with the CM team to verify information
  • Evaluate and validate VAVE savings and rebates
  • Support Purchasing in analyzing supplier proposals and contracts
  • Manage contract standardization and documentation in SAP SD Supplier Master Data Base
  • Review and analyze vertical integration proposals and processes
  • Follow up on price reviews and audits with Program and Opps Buyers
  • Review and propose business process improvements for Purchasing

Requirements:

  • License in Accounting or Administration
  • Experience in SAP procurement modules
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement processes
  • Strong analytical and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
