About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the quality manager within assigned areas and align priorities with management.

  • Lead/conduct investigations using proper tools (8D, Ishikawa, 5Why's, Kata QRCI, etc.) to determine causes of defects, make recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Determine which products can be reworked or scrapped.
  • Monitor and lead efforts in the timely disposition of nonconforming product.
  • Be responsible for the successful implementation of engineering changes/programs from quality perspective and represent quality on ECC meetings as well as deploying related actions.
  • Be responsible to PPAP to customer.
  • Be the leader for Quality chapters of FES Deployment Plan in his/her perimeter.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Statistical Process Control techniques.
  • Participate in the establishment and implementation of quality specifications, testing procedures, and standards for raw materials/process goods/finished goods.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain appropriate operation of inspection systems and sampling techniques.
  • Develop and recommend inspection and sampling techniques and quality control plans.
  • Develop process control procedures ensuring production of finished products meeting quality specifications and standards.
  • Assure compliance of the documented quality system (IATF and promote consistency throughout the organization.
  • Assure compliance to customer specific requirements.

Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • 1 to 5 years of experience in the automotive industry.

  • Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization.
  • Fluent English language knowledge – written and spoken.
