Business Development Representative for Government Entities

Are you passionate about driving sales growth and building strong relationships with government entities? We're looking for a talented Business Development Representative to join our team in Mexico
We're SAS, a leader in analytics software and services. Our mission is to empower customers to transform data into intelligence and answer complex questions.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work with our Public Sector Commercial team, managing a named territory that includes federal and local government accounts. You'll be responsible for selling software solutions and services to end-user areas of current and prospective customers.
You will:
- Sell software solutions and services to end-user areas, working with other sales/pre-sales/domain/personnel to position and leverage sales opportunities
- Manage the assigned territory, knowing deeply the assigned accounts and their ecosystem of vendors
- Have a proven corporate education to properly manage internal processes within SAS
- Be accustomed to managing natural sales pressures and have a structured mindset to build complex pricing scenarios
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SW Solutions sales for government entities/public sector
- Bachelor's Degree in administrative or engineering field
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered
