We're seeking a talented Mid-Level Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team at Engineer Up. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable full stack applications using React and backend technologies such as Java, Python, or .NET.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in developing scalable and reliable web applications and will be able to participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and system design.

You will work closely with our leadership and senior members of the team to conceptualize new features and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. You will also be responsible for adhering to security and data protection standards and staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to possess strong organizational and project management skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack applications.
  • Frontend experience must include React.
  • Backend experience must include one of the following: Java, Python, .NET, or others.
  • Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and system design.
  • Collaborate with leadership and senior members of the team to conceptualize new features.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Adhere to security and data protection standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

**Requirements:**

  • Strong proficiency in Java (or another backend language), Spring/Spring Boot, MySQL, JavaScript/React.
  • Experience with React is a must. Next.js is highly recommended.
  • Knowledge of SQL databases, specifically MySQL, and crafting stored procedures.
  • Experience with cloud services such as AWS.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
  • Experience with continuous integration.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in full stack development.
  • Demonstrable ability to build complex web applications.
  • Highly proficient in both front-end and back-end coding.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Knowledge of DevOps and automated testing is a plus.
