Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Die Room team at Stellantis. As a Die Room PPS Leader, you will be responsible for developing a work culture that prioritizes safety and implementing safety procedures in accordance with OSHA requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage die maintenance systems across all shifts to ensure dies operate efficiently and effectively, providing necessary resources to achieve productivity and quality goals.
- Support the team in achieving safety, production, quality, delivery, morale, and environmental indicators.
- Develop and train team members in technical knowledge to ensure compliance with quality and productivity objectives in production lines.
- Develop team members in SPW knowledge to ensure proper execution of PM methodology.
- Lead by example and foster teamwork across all areas.
Requirements
- Coordinate activities according to World Class Manufacturing (WCM) standards, particularly Autonomous and Professional Maintenance, Pillar Activities, to guarantee productivity and quality goals through a systematic approach of planning and executing key die maintenance enablers and coordinating all activities utilizing the TMS system.
- Responsible for spare parts, suppliers coordination, planning activities for die maintenance.
- Plan and execute die maintenance and die improvements through the use of new machining technologies (using design software and machining programs).
- Ensure the availability of appropriate and sufficient tools and facilities, and keep machining licenses up-to-date.
- Develop training plans for team members to keep them updated.
- Responsible for submitting all RQs through the PENTASAP system generated by Die room, quality, and Industrial Engineering.
