Job Summary

The Finance Coordinator plays a critical role in planning, organizing, and directing financial matters for USCRI in Latin America. This position is responsible for establishing procedures for compliance and support of financial obligations in the region, ensuring efficient information management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safeguarding information, assets, and resources of USCRI's field offices in Latin America.
  • Representing USCRI in administrative and financial matters in Latin America.
  • Acting as the point of contact for internal and external entities in Latin America, verifying or requesting information.
  • Conducting financial analyses to determine the financial health of USCRI's field offices in Latin America.
  • Collaborating with USCRI's finance team at headquarters and Latin American field offices in financial performance development and execution.
  • Examining financial and judicial documents to ensure compliance with regulations and acceptable financial practices.
  • Developing and recommending solutions to financial issues or situations.
  • Managing risk through analysis of liabilities and general expenses of USCRI in Latin America.
  • Ensuring compliance of USCRI's Latin American field offices with local and international law, as well as USCRI's internal policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, international business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a financial role.
  • Excellent communication, drafting, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Cordial, polite, and respectful attitude and behavior towards all people and organizations.
  • Spoken and written Spanish and English required.
Training and Development
  • Satisfactory completion of USCRI's Orientation and Training.
  • Additional training as identified by supervisor or Human Resources.
