About the Role

We're searching for an experienced leader, exceptional in manufacturing knowledge and relationship development, to help us drive growth in Mexico. As General Manager of Mexico, you will leverage your leadership, managerial, and technical expertise to increase our presence in both Monterrey and across other Mexico regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage your leadership, managerial, and technical expertise to increase our presence in both Monterrey and across other Mexico regions.
  • Hire and develop a Fictiv team that manages Strategic Sourcing, HR, IT, Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality, Sourcing, and Quoting.
  • Establish strategic, high-quality manufacturing partners experienced in manufacturing complex custom mechanical components from new product development through production, focusing on Injection Molding and CNC Machining.
  • Ensure full connectivity and reporting with Fictiv's global operations within India, China, and the Americas.
  • Ensure the health and performance of the team and corresponding operations within Mexico in alignment with the needs of the business.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Engineering or Business or relevant experience. MBA is a plus.
  • Expert knowledge of Manufacturing from New Product Introduction through Production and entails, at a minimum, manufacturing and quality practices, manufacturing capabilities with high degree of Injection Molding and CNC knowledge, and supplier negotiations.
  • Minimum 10 years of people management experience. History of acting as a people-first leader and a motivator.
  • Fluent in Spanish & English.
  • Ability to travel between Monterrey and global Fictiv offices in China, USA, and India.
  • Strong network of manufacturing relationships within Mexico across the business community.
  • Good understanding of cultural norms within Mexico.
