Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Member to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a Housekeeping Team Member, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guest rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to guest requests and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Restock and maintain housekeeping carts and supplies.
  • Enter guest rooms in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all amenities and supplies are replenished.
  • Make beds, change linens, and clean bathrooms to the highest standards.
  • Remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items from guest rooms.
  • Check that all appliances and furniture are in good working order and report any maintenance issues.
  • Straighten and dust furniture, fixtures, and appliances.
  • Perform floor care duties, including vacuuming and cleaning hallways.
  • Follow all company and safety policies and procedures.
  • Report any safety hazards or accidents to management.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related equipment.
  • Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
