The Global HR Technology Project Lead will oversee the strategy, planning, management, and completion of projects supporting Human Resources functions globally at Carrier. This role requires collaboration with project team members and vendors to develop project scope and utilize project management skills to manage project scope, identify resource requirements, define project deliverables, and execute.

The ideal candidate should have a successful track record in project management, technology delivery, and operations. This individual should be able to lead process improvement initiatives and projects to improve productivity, quality, and employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, and monitor HR Technology projects across Carrier globally with an eye on supportability and successful operational transition into production.
  • Manage teams in building project plans, identifying HR business requirements, process and functional design, prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures.
  • Overall management, tracking, and reporting of project plan and activities, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and remain aligned to business objectives.
  • Work closely with leaders, project teams, and various stakeholders to ensure projects effectively mitigate risks, resolve issues, and deliver as planned.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings and implementation plans, working with other project managers, functional experts, and business partners.
  • Prepare periodic communications to stakeholders, work documents, and project plans.
  • Review and maintain project financials, evaluating projects against their approved financial targets and benefits goals, and ensuring the creation of action plans to address variances and effectively manage change controls.
  • Build and deliver project plans, status reports, and metrics on test case development, test execution progress, track and monitor defect corrections, identify project dependencies, and constraints.
  • Identify improvement opportunities for the organization and be an advocate for change.
  • Work in an agile environment with global implementation and operations teams.
  • Lead coordination for the training and other events that help share knowledge and skills with other team members.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as an IT project manager.
  • Experience managing work on Cloud HR products such as Workday, Oracle Cloud HCM, SuccessFactors.
  • Thrive in a diverse, fast-paced, global environment.
  • Experienced in the use of project management tools and methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodology and practices.
  • Think analytically and can effectively apply logic to solve problems.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines, despite conflicting demands.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate and team with others.
  • Excellent analytical, presentation, interpersonal, organizational, and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and can clearly articulate complex messages and requirements to stakeholders, functional COE teams, and vendors.
  • Ability to train and mentor other Project Managers on Project Management methodologies.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
