Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Specialist to join our team at 847 FLEXTRONICS MANUFACTURING JUAREZ S DE RL DE CV. As a Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing complex mechanical and electrical assemblies used in equipment at the component level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical assemblies used in equipment at the component level.
  • Operate electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes and conduct special tests as required.
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to other technical personnel.
  • Collaborate with engineering on functionality issues and procedure updates.
  • Present training, when necessary, to the new build and service assembler teams.
  • Contribute to the development of work instructions, batch records, equipment logs, material specifications, and other device history documents.
  • Help monitor productivity of our equipment by tracking yields and equipment cycle rates.
  • Assist with the installation, debug, and validation of process equipment.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
  • Develop and maintain a Debug Guide to troubleshoot PCBA.
  • Provide training and PCBA debugging guidance to other debug technicians.

  • Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts and operations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Work Environment

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, work that requires repetitive motion, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock.

Physical Demands

This role requires regular handling of small components, reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, and hearing. The employee frequently stands, walks, and sits. The employee occasionally climbs or balances and must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
