Job Summary

About the Role

This is a senior-level position that requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in process automation engineering. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project management and decarbonization, with expertise in requirements gathering, design, configuration, integration, and implementation of process control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement advanced process automation systems to improve operational efficiency and reliability
  • Design, configure, integrate, and implement process control systems, including batch software, Distributed Control System (DCS), HMI packages, SCADA systems, and PC networking technology
  • Lead and manage automation projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget
  • Analyze and troubleshoot existing automated systems to identify areas for improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in automation technology and sustainability practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in process automation engineering, with a proven track record in project management and decarbonization
  • Demonstrated skills in requirements gathering, design, configuration, integration, and implementation of process control systems
  • Hands-on experience in equipment reliability, ABB Robot Studio, RS Logix, Fanuc Focus, Ignition, or other comparable platforms
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
  • Experience with sustainable practices and technologies aimed at reducing carbon emissions
