We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Leader to join our team at General Motors. As a key member of our Global Supply Chain organization, you will be responsible for executing deliverables that support our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide a team of professionals to ensure business objectives are met or exceeded in areas including customer satisfaction, quality, service, responsiveness, people, product, and financial initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including logistics suppliers and service providers.
- Assess complex supply chain issues and lead cross-functional teams to resolve issues minimizing impacts to vehicle production.
- Analyze metrics to support supplier critical issues or sufficiency plan resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop creative solutions.
- Travel to plant locations as needed for onsite support of launch and build-out.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Commerce, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Ability to work extended and non-core hours as needed.
- Advanced English language skills.
- Key skills include warehouse management, advanced Microsoft Office package, and personnel management.
