About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior.Net Software Engineer to join our team at Thomson Reuters. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software solutions using C# and.Net technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software code, following industry best practices and standards
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and maintainability
  • Work closely with QA teams to ensure software meets quality and testing standards
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, technical specifications, and user manuals
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve software development processes and tools
  • Collaborate with other designers and engineers to break down customer requirements into technical requirements and specifications for the team
  • Communicate technical concepts to stakeholders, including non-technical team members and customers

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on.Net and C# technologies
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles, including design, development, testing, and deployment
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g. Git)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions
