Job Overview

The Production Leader is responsible for overseeing a designated production unit, ensuring optimal performance across assigned production lines in terms of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), Quality, Deliveries, Costs, Resources, and Innovation. This role holds accountability for the overall outcomes of the production unit, including the monitoring of action and improvement plans, as well as the implementation of cost control strategies.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement the HSE strategy within the production unit and drive improvements in Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure strict adherence to Quality protocols within the unit.
- Lead root cause analysis and develop action plans for both internal and external quality issues.
- Monitor sales volume for the assigned unit, analyze variances, and execute action plans to meet sales targets.
- Ensure achievement of Turnaround Time (TAT) and Standard Processing Time (SPT) metrics, analyze discrepancies, and implement improvement plans.
- Oversee compliance with standard production times and coordinate strategies to enhance repair times.
- Manage overtime within the production unit, implementing strategies to minimize excess hours.
- Control repair costs through variance analysis, deploying cost reduction strategies and effective OPEX management.
- Supervise production staff and facilitate their professional development, including validating hiring requirements for the unit.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives utilizing available resources (DMDs, Green Belt projects, One Safran, Kaizens, etc.).

Qualifications

A seasoned production leader with a minimum of 5 years in leadership roles, demonstrating proven experience in managing multidisciplinary teams.
