Purpose and Scope
As a Payroll and Benefits Analyst, you will be responsible for calculating payroll processes from pre-payroll to dispersion. Your expertise in payroll and benefits will ensure that employee payroll is accurate, timely, and aligned with the law.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert on payroll and benefits
- Computation of wages and salaries, deductions, and benefits, taxes, and other withholdings
- Maintenance of payroll-related salary, deduction, and benefit information in financial/employee management databases
- Calculation of ordinary and extraordinary payroll processes
- Stay up-to-date on state and federal payroll and tax laws
- Research and respond to payroll and benefit-related inquiries
- Sending payroll-related information to apply for payment
- Design, document, and implement procedures to streamline payroll processes
- Manage payroll budget
- Follow-up on associate's files to ensure the validity of benefits
- Knowledge in Success Factors, Kronos, Celergo platform is a plus
Technical/Functional Skills
- Expertise in payroll processes
- Expertise in IMSS - ISR - Infonavit – ISN - Labor Federal Law
- Settlement calculations
- T&A Software management
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- The ability to work under tight deadlines
- Advanced Excel skills
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Administration, or related field (certified)
- Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Payroll Specialist in the manufacturing industry
