We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety, Health, and Environmental (SH&E) Supervisor to join our team at AECOM. As a key member of our project execution team, you will report to the SH&E Manager and be responsible for supporting the delivery of construction projects within our program's timelines and performance indicators.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to high levels of compliance at project sites by providing clear explanations and practical examples of implementation.
- Audit project sites to raise awareness and sensitivity among project personnel about unsafe conditions and practices or behaviors.
- Support the use of near-miss reports by contractors. Assist with the permit-to-work process and ensure compliance with procedures.
- Support the investigation of incidents and accidents by collecting evidence of facts, photographs, witness statements, and other useful information for the Root Cause Analysis process.
- Support the development and delivery of SH&E training and orientation for projects managed by AECOM employees.
- Help monitor contractor training programs to verify compliance with regulatory and AECOM requirements and client requirements.
- Assist the SH&E Manager, Project Managers, and Site Superintendents in administering the Site-Specific SH&E Plan and developing Site-Specific Risk Assessments.
- Minimum 2 years of experience and/or education.
- Expert knowledge of construction methods and practices.
- Knowledge of the construction market.
- Experience in SH&E for construction projects.
