Bar Attendant

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bar Attendant to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a Bar Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by preparing and serving drinks, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, and ensuring a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve drinks according to specified recipes and standards.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including the bar, tables, and storage areas.
• Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
• Process all payment methods and handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
• Count bank at the end of the shift and complete designated cashier reports.
• Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas.
• Complete closing duties and ensure the bar area is ready for the next shift.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of related work experience in a bar or restaurant setting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and move quickly and efficiently around the bar area.
