Eaton's AER FED Fluid Electrical Distribution division is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) professional to join our team.
**Job Summary:**
This role will support environmental, health, and safety efforts at the site, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining EHS systems and processes, including monitoring and measurement systems, reporting and communication of EHS metrics, collection and organization of EHS action items, supporting EHS training initiatives, leading and supporting EHS teams, and investigating incidents.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist in implementing MESH (Management System of Environmental, Safety, Security, and Health) and utilizing MESH tools to drive improvements;
- Support risk assessments at the location to identify critical EHS hazards and aspects;
- Track leading and lagging indicators to monitor EHS performance;
- Collaborate with EHS Manager and MESH element champions to complete an annual evaluation of compliance for EHS country, state, and local regulations applicable to Site Operations;
- Develop and implement strategies to promote a zero-incident EHS culture throughout the site;
- Support EHS engagement through EHS teams and committees needed to accomplish established targets and objectives for the year;
**Requirements:**
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the EHS field;
- An Associate Degree or four-year degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental discipline, or equivalent;
- Ability to identify state and country EHS legal requirements;
- Bilingual Spanish/English skills;
- Ability to facilitate EHS teams;
- Proficiency in company-wide systems for reporting EHS data and information;
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Ability to integrate EHS with other functions;
- Act as an agent of change, effective in enabling and driving change;
- Cross-cultural agility;
