About the Role

At Te Connectivity, we are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our cross-functional engineering teams in the product design and sustaining of electrical and mechanical parts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to our engineers, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional engineering teams to design and sustain electrical and mechanical parts
  • Develop and implement technical roadmaps aligned with market directions
  • Communicate effectively with senior management, business units, and customers to share applicable technology
  • Identify relevant technology trends and opportunities, and develop relationships with key customers and industry leaders
  • Define and manage IP strategy, and assess talent to ensure succession planning and organization capability
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Engineering Degree or equivalent, including managerial experience
  • 10+ years of overall experience with technology-based industrial operations, including 3+ years of demonstrated leadership success in sustaining product engineering or development engineering
  • Strong fluent bilingual skills in Spanish and English
  • Advanced degree preferred (MS Eng or MBA)
  • Mexico citizen able to work without restrictions, and preferably have documented US Persons status to ensure no restrictions in ITAR/Export Controlled facility
