About the Role:

Clarios, a global leader in advanced, low-voltage battery technologies for mobility, is seeking an experienced Chief SAP Security Strategist to lead our SAP security efforts. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to drive the development and implementation of a robust SAP security strategy, aligned with industry best practices and business objectives.

Job Description:

The Chief SAP Security Strategist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP security controls, including access management, authorization controls, and data security. They will oversee vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits for SAP systems, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

This role requires strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage and mentor a team of SAP security professionals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing successful SAP security strategies, with in-depth knowledge of SAP security concepts, including user access controls, authorization management, security profiles, and audit logs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive SAP security strategy, aligned with industry best practices and business objectives.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP security controls, including access management, authorization controls, and data security.
  • Oversee vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits for SAP systems, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Manage and mentor a team of SAP security professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including application owners, business process owners, and IT operations, to ensure security considerations are integrated throughout the SAP lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP security administration and implementation.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful SAP security strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP security concepts, including user access controls, authorization management, security profiles, and audit logs.
  • Experience with SAP audit tools and methodologies (e.g., GRC, SGRC).
  • Strong understanding of security governance frameworks.

Preferred Skills:

  • SAP Security certifications.
  • Experience with SAP security automation tools.
  • Experience with cloud-based SAP deployments.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
