Instructional Coach

About the Role

The Inspired Education Group is seeking an experienced Instructional Coach to join our team at The American Institute of Monterrey (AIM). As an Instructional Coach, you will play a critical role in enhancing the quality of teaching and learning at AIM, working closely with teachers to develop and implement effective instructional strategies and curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

• Observe and evaluate instructional methods and materials to identify areas for improvement
• Develop and implement teaching strategies and curriculum to enhance student learning outcomes
• Model teaching techniques and provide feedback to teachers to support their professional growth
• Motivate and encourage teachers to adopt best practices in teaching and learning
• Monitor student achievement and provide data-driven insights to inform instructional decisions
• Provide teacher training and development sessions to enhance their skills and knowledge
• Aim for excellence in all aspects of the job, including student relationships, colleague interactions, and parent communication

Requirements

• High level of English proficiency
• Sound teacher qualifications (BA and/or MBA) in Education
• 5+ years of teaching, instructional coaching, or similar roles experience
• Strong understanding of educational theory, practices, and pedagogical approaches
• IT skills
• A child-centered approach to teaching and learning
• Good communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
• Commitment to all-round school core values and culture, including its co-curricular activities and an aim for excellence approach
