As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for deploying and supporting a Quality Culture within our local ABB, ensuring and controlling Quality with systems, tools, and teams to exceed customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations. You will collaborate with local functions that impact quality results to reach targets for the organizational unit and aim for world-class level performance.
**Your Responsibilities**:
Validate supplier quality systems and processes, drive approval of supplier parts and materials, and lead the quick reaction to supply issues related to quality issues, deliveries, non-conforming products, or project services. You will also lead improvement projects in collaboration with on-site supplier teams, ensure supplier qualification processes are executed in full, and work with Procurement management to continually improve processes.
**Your Background**:
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, knowledge of Lean six sigma approach, experience in AutoCAD draws, and previous experience in quality management and plastic manufacturing are desirable. You should have 2 years of experience working with suppliers, availability to travel, and an advanced English level.
