Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for driving the sourcing of materials, components, and services required for Dedienne operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the sourcing of materials, components, and services required for Dedienne operations.
  • Collaborate with supporting resources (Engineering, Quality, Global Supply Chains, Logistics, etc.) to achieve plans, ensure adequate cycle time to procure materials, and perform regular and efficient follow-up with vendors and supply chain partners.
  • Manage communication regarding after-sales service requests or requests from customers to manage the purchasing requirement by interacting with different stakeholders.
  • Manage the purchasing activity in the ERP tool to maintain the flow of information.
  • Support local and global logistics operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials.
  • Assist in building operations and administrative activities to ensure smooth functioning of the company's facilities.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage replenishment orders to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and provide timely solutions.
  • Periodic submission of reports and updates on ERP and to update different stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical/aerospace/industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a supply chain/admin role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Prior internship or co-op experience in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and procurement software is desirable.
  • Fluent level of English allowing you to negotiate and participate in technical discussions without any issues is a must. Spoken knowledge of other Indian languages like Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, etc., will be an advantage.
