**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Manager to join our team at Copeland. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the procurement, storage, and distribution of materials and supplies for our Juarez plant.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Ensure that the right materials are available at the right time, in the right quantities, and at the right levels of inventory.
* Receive and analyze sales forecasts, prepare production plans for the plant, and manage the purchasing and inventory plans in accordance with the plant and divisional objectives.
* Manage key indicators (Inventory Turns, On Time Delivery, etc.) to measure the plant performance against goals.
* Aid business production managers in training and developing specialized materials knowledge and skills in all materials personnel.

**Requirements**

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (BA, BSME, or equivalent).
* 10 years' experience in materials on a manufacturing environment.
* Analytical approach to problem-solving.
* Working knowledge of MRPII, JDE, and J.I.T. APICS Certification preferred.
* Strong knowledge of MS Packages (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Bilingual English Spanish. Strong Leadership and communication skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**

Master's degree.
