The Role

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team in a key role focused on supply chain optimization. As a Tactical Buy Analyst, you will be responsible for leading the tactical buying process, including supplier selection, negotiation, and reporting savings.

You will execute standardized processes, utilize appropriate tools, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets and maintain quality and service standards.

In addition, you will support users in developing specifications, use client-approved tactical buy systems, and identify potential vendors and obtain quotes as needed. You will also improve the purchasing process, considering procurement policies regarding budget amounts.

Your Responsibilities
  • Review non-catalog requisitions to ensure alignment with PepsiCo and GP policies and procedures.
  • Quote with multiple suppliers, considering policy requirements and selecting the best commercial option for the company.
  • Maintain constant communication with stakeholders, including MSOs, COEs, vendors, and users, to gather accurate quotes and measure performance and fulfillment of deliveries and quality of items/services.
  • Negotiate agreements, taking into account user needs and specifications.
  • Approve or deny requisitions within designated thresholds, adhering to SLA timelines.
  • Knowledgeably assess all procurement processes, policies, categories, and vendors.
  • Support myBUY users with functional and operative inquiries, track reviewed requisitions to generate KPIs, and monitor spend, productivity, and automation by month.
Requirements

We are looking for an individual with:

  • A strong analytical mindset, able to analyze sourcing data and comprehend complex processes.
  • Excellent IT procurement skills, preferably with experience in SAP/ARIBA.
  • Experience in creating and delivering analyses to internal and external customers.
  • A solid procurement and analytical background.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, enabling relationships with suppliers and users.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Professional presentation experience.
  • A Bachelor's Degree.
