About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Cessna Aircraft Company. As a Sr. Specialist Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality KPIs: Develop and implement strategies to improve quality performance metrics, including cPPMs, QDRs, Q Scrap, PPAC, Customer Audits, CP Compliance, PPAPS on time, and Accidents.
- Manufacturing Process Quality Objectives: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve quality objectives during launch and serial production.
- Quality Non-Conformities: Identify and escalate quality non-conformities, ensuring a STOP-AT-DEFECT approach is implemented.
- Escalation Process: Follow established escalation procedures to ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote and implement continuous improvement activities that impact quality processes in the plant.
- Quality Documentation: Create and maintain quality documentation related to the plant, including process control plans and quality procedures.
- Customer Service Quality: Serve as the first point of contact for customer service quality-related inquiries.
- Customer Requirements: Ensure knowledge of specific customer requirements and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Risk Management and Product Safety: Maintain knowledge of risk management and product safety principles.
- Customer Complaints: Manage customer complaints, including guarantees and warranty claims.
- PPAP Submissions: Submit final PPAP submissions to customers, including updates to customer portals.
- Document Validation: Validate project-related documents, such as P-FMEA, D-FMEA, process flowcharts, control plans, and STW.
- Audits: Lead internal and external audits for the production process, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Engineering: A degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Quality Engineering Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer.
- Quality Tools and Standards: Knowledge of valid quality tools and quality standards.
- Core Tools and CSR: Experience with Core Tools and CSR is a plus.
- English Language Skills: Strong English language skills are required.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time position with a first shift schedule.
