Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Coordinate and deliver EHS training programs for employees to ensure understanding and compliance with EHS standards and practices.
- Manage and maintain EHS documentation, including permits, safety data sheets (SDS), and records of incidents and corrective actions.
- Serve as the primary contact for regulatory agencies for all EHS matters, including inspections, permits, and reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in EHS practices, aiming for best-in-class standards.
- Monitor emerging EHS legislation and ensure the company's ongoing compliance.
- Manage and oversee the company's waste management and recycling programs, ensuring environmental compliance and sustainability.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety and Health, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in an EHS role, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- Comprehensive knowledge of EHS regulations and standards.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective EHS programs and initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with all levels of the organization.
- English/Spanish, at professional working proficiency level.
