Sales Director/Sales Manager LATAM

DroneShield is seeking a seasoned sales professional to join its team as a Sales Manager or Sales Director (title in line with experience) for the LATAM region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales success in the defence or security sector, with a focus on smaller system integrator experience.
The role will involve growing and executing sales strategy for the region, creating and prioritizing strategic target account lists, and prospecting and qualifying leads using various sources. The Sales Manager will work closely with the broader team to set meetings, conduct demos, and visit prospects, as well as maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications.
The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be a motivated self-starter with a high degree of attention to detail, and be able to work autonomously as part of a geographically distributed team.
Responsibilities and Expectations- Grow and execute sales strategy for the LATAM region
- Create and prioritize strategic target account lists
- Prospect and qualify leads using various sources
- Work with the broader team to set meetings, conduct demos, and visit prospects
- Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications
- Represent DroneShield at industry events
- Conduct demonstrations and installations of the DroneShield systems
- Provide input in writing product manuals and Standard Operating Procedures
- Assist in providing distributor and end customer training in product use
