Job Summary

This is a vital position responsible for the auditing and governance of the Items, Employees, Vendors, Customers data and tables that are created, used and updated by the Global Application Data Management systems.

Key Objectives

  • Data governance and data standardization
  • Improved data accuracy and reliability
  • Improved turnaround times and reporting

Responsibilities

  1. Strategy & Planning
  • Understand and communicate business processes as they relate to data management
Acquisition & Deployment
  • Design and usage of tools/applications utilized by the region
  • Use SQL queries and applications to enhance data quality
Operational Management
  • Approval and auditing of item, vendor and customer data and tables
  • Run reports, cleanse data, run validations, and process and approve item workflows
  • Monitor the IT ticketing system for ADM request queue
Incidental Functions
  • Ensure data standards are being followed and validated
  • Maintain business relationships between departments

Qualifications

  • Formal Education
    • Bachelor's degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business IT or equivalent
  • Knowledge & Experience
    • SQL knowledge or other programming language
    • Intermediate skills in MS Excel
    • Strong Computer Skills in Business Applications
    • Excellent analytical, data mining and tactical problem-solving abilities
    • Oracle ERP experience is an advantage
