Mission
The Procurement Manager's mission is to coordinate the management of suppliers for products necessary for the production flow and to manage the team of suppliers on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Procurement team (effectiveness and efficiency) and ensure the right level of mastery of skills within the team and compliance with procurement practices defined.
- Responsible for supply performance: In connection with sourcing, implement and monitor action plans in the event of deviation.
- Lead the execution of procurement operations and ensure control of these operations via a control plan.
- Deal with operational problems encountered and escalate blocking points to sourcing or DOI.
- Propose, define, and lead internal and external improvement projects and identify development needs.
- Accountable for the reliability of data relating to procurement activities.
- In coordination with Sourcing/SPI, actively participate in supplier relationship management for all operational aspects.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Procurement/Purchasing activities.
- General Competences: Adaptability, Results Orientation, Problem Solving.
- Knowledge: Procurement processes, Supply Chain.
- ERP - SAP (preferred).
- Problem Solving Methods.
- Licence.
