Senior Manager Supply Chain

At Yanfeng International Automotive Technology Co. Ltd., we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager Supply Chain to join our team. As a key member of our Materials Department, you will be responsible for overseeing several plants and supporting Materials teams on KPI performance and Continuous Improvement.

  • Develop and implement departmental systems, procedures, and policies involving purchasing, production, and material control.
  • Oversee production schedules, including material procurement and manufacturing schedules, to ensure sufficient materials are available to production.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a continuing source of vendors.
  • Stay informed on availability and price trends on new materials, products, and sources.
  • Devise methods and policies to ensure the most efficient and economical movement of all materials in and out of the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all areas of Materials Department, including receiving, scheduling, warehousing, and shipping activities.
  • Participate in annual budget forecasts and report costs for material and labor within Material Group to Plant Manager.
  • Oversee prompt shipment schedules to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Analyze future customer demand to identify manpower, tooling, and equipment needs.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, production planning, and material management.
  • Previous experience in material planning/purchasing and expertise in MRP and QAD systems.
  • Ability to work additional hours and/or overtime as needed or assigned to complete job duties on time.
  • Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Work Environment: Office Environment. Work is indoor in a manufacturing setting that may not be temperature controlled.
