Aptiv Contract Services Tijuana, S.A. De C.V. is seeking a highly skilled Production Planning and Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production control department, you will be responsible for planning and procuring materials for our electronic harness assembly operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate the production of assigned product lines, ensuring timely availability of quality materials.
- Manage purchase orders, analyzing proposals from suppliers and executing suggested action messages.
- Follow up on purchase orders with external suppliers, ensuring compliance with quantity, cost, and delivery time requirements.
- Analyze supplier proposals, prepare purchase orders, and evaluate assigned suppliers.
- Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the purchasing function.
- Evaluate requisitions and proposals, interviewing suppliers to obtain information about their products and services.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in production control.
- Professional degree in a related field.
- Advanced English language skills.
- Strong experience in planning and purchasing materials for electronic harness assembly.
- Advanced knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office.
