We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team at Epicor. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our software applications.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and develop high-quality software applications using Java and related technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
**Requirements**
- At least 5 years of commercial software development experience in back-end or full-stack roles.
- Expertise in Kotlin and Java 8+.
- Proficiency in the Spring Boot framework.
- Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with both microservice and monolithic architectures.
- The ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in unit/integration testing, with a good understanding of testing frameworks such as JUnit/TestNG/Mocking/Test Containers.
- Strong understanding of clean code principles and design patterns.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a distributed team.
**Nice to Have**
- Familiarity with Spring Cloud and microservices architecture.
- Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ.
- Knowledge of containerization with Kubernetes and Redis as a data store.
- Experience with front-end development frameworks like Vaadin 8+ and familiarity with JavaScript/CSS.
