Extrusion Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Extrusion Specialist to join our team at Teleflex in Tecate, Mexico. This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and executing new projects related to cost reduction and productivity improvements. They will work closely with technicians in the extrusion and blow molding area, providing support and expertise to ensure smooth operations.

This role requires a strong understanding of single and multi-lumen extrusions processing, as well as experience working with a wide range of polymer materials, including TPU, PVC, HDPE, LDPE, PE, and TPE.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastic Engineering, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering preferred
• 5+ years of experience in extrusion and molding
• Solid knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), process capacity, verification, and validation
• Strong bilingual communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work effectively with other product development team members
