Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and attentive Banquet Server to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests during banquets and events.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure that all tables are properly set and cleared, and that the dining area is clean and well-maintained.
- Communicate with the kitchen and other staff members to ensure that all guest requests are met.
- Monitor and maintain the quality of food and beverages, and report any issues to the management.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest requests and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a food and beverage role, preferably in a banquet or event setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, staff, and management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and move quickly and efficiently in a busy environment.
