About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Validation Engineer to join our team at HARMAN International. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interface with Program Management and Product Engineering to ensure qualification activities are included in project plans and executed as planned.
  • Support the Design Verification Plan and Report (DVP&R) for responsible products.
  • Collaborate with other Harman organizations to resolve qualification issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and update reports, files, and test data as required.
  • Develop and prepare preliminary drawings or sketches showing proposed specifications, design characteristics, wiring diagrams, BOM, etc.
  • Schedule testing activities for assigned projects, estimate required hours, and record actual vs. estimated.
  • Work from detailed drawings, blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and verbal and written instructions.
  • Use multi-meter, o-scope, analyzers, digital analysis tools, machine tools, soldering equipment, and computers to design and document test setups.
Requirements
  • BSEE minimum degree required (Mechanical, Electrical, or Applied Sciences).
  • 3-5 years relevant engineering experience.
  • Proven ability to be flexible, prioritize, and manage multiple projects, as well as solve problems in a timely manner.
  • Knowledge of specific lab equipment, including data acquisition systems, oscilloscope, multi-meter, spectrum analyzer, digital analysis tools, machine tools, soldering equipment, and computers.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and work with a small team of technicians to complete projects.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
