Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our headquarters accounting department. This individual will be responsible for managing and processing a high volume of accounting-related tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process all incoming vendor invoices and documents in a timely manner
  • Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Identify and resolve vendor or customer invoice issues
  • Organize customer and vendor financial documents in our electronic filing system
  • Complete accounting processes and tasks in our workflow system
  • Reconcile credit card and processor statements
  • Utilize Google spreadsheets to process reports and accounting records
  • Collaborate with customer service and logistics teams on accounting-related issues
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Track and report accounting efficiency and issues to management
  • Improve accounting processes and create new documentation

Requirements

  • Minimum 40 WPM typing speed
  • Strong technical understanding
  • Comfortable processing data using Google spreadsheets
  • Able to process high volumes of income requests and tasks
  • Strong attention to detail while maximizing efficiency
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Takes ownership and accountability for work while keeping teams informed

Job Details

  • Pay Range: $1000 to $1900 USD per month
  • Must be based in Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, or Costa Rica
