Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Digital Supply Chain Transformation Manager to join our team in the United States.

As a Digital Supply Chain Transformation Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all activities relating to researching, designing, and developing digital capabilities for our supply chain processes.

The goal is to digitalize our supply chain processes across regions as part of our company's digitalization strategy.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Define roadmap, budget, and coordinate supply chain development product owners and P&IT support network to align and maintain development according to company digitalization objectives.
  • Ensure that development budget is properly invested during the discovery phase (research, planning and strategy) to obtain an objective definition, a competitive analysis, and a clear MVP concept to develop.
  • Collect, refine, and maintain a well-defined backlog for CEMEX Global requirements in order reduce development effort and simplify certification process, reducing reprocesses.
  • Maintain a vision of the process journey, and supply chain products lifecycle to define evolution, innovation, and business cases.
  • Lead supply chain digital products: maintain development vision, backlog documentation (story mapping, epics, and user stories) and define evolution for supply chain capabilities.
  • Review of the feedback strategy for CEMEX's supply chain process, including global and regional objectives.
  • Collaborate with commercial development organization to ensure requirements definitions and development prioritization.
  • Support monthly reporting and presentations detailing progress highlights.
  • Balance and prioritize roadmap efforts according to company's targets, obsolescence projects, and technical debt.
  • Engage with business users to adopt new improvements or capabilities.
  • Business case monitoring.
Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Languages needed & proficiency: Spanish 90-100% written and spoken, English 90-100% written and spoken.
  • Academic background: Master's in supply chain management (desirable), BA in engineering, computer sciences, or systems.
  • Areas of expertise: 5 years on practical experience in logistics & supply chain and product management.
  • Technical skills: deep understanding of order fulfillment process, agile certification, SCOR (desirable), data analytics (desirable).
  • Soft skills: people management, communication of ideas effectively in both oral and written form, ability to work effectively with others, self-driven, open to traveling (30%).
