Procurement Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Assistant to join our team at North American Production Sharing, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the Purchasing communication queue, providing clear and timely communication to internal customers, and working closely with the Procurement team to gather data and resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the Purchasing communication queue and respond to questions and concerns in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the Procurement team to gather data and resolve issues related to purchasing and procurement.
• Record and report key indicators of service to internal customers, including sales, customer service, order support, and production.
• Maintain accurate records and data in the system.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service or related role.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Advanced English reading and writing required.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
• Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
