Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Analyst to join our team at GF Machining Solutions, S.A. de C.V. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting support to our management team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Complete financial analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting processes, including monthly financial reporting to our parent company and ensuring compliance with tax reporting requirements.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and collection of past due accounts, assist with treasury, payroll, and human resources functions.
  • Assist the controller in performing administrative tasks and relieving the current workload, including processing documents related to machine rentals and consignments, managing site machine logistics, and overseeing inventory reconciliations.
  • Perform additional tasks as requested by the Managing Director - Mexico.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance from a four-year college or university, and 5 or more years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CPA license and/or Master's degree preferred. Strong understanding of banking processes and financial data analysis.
  • Working knowledge of national and local tax regulations and compliance reporting. Experience in managing payroll, with a focus on streamlining accounting processes.
  • Exemplary history of financial project management. Proficiency in English.
  • Prior operational financial management and controlling functions experience required. Experience in internal controls, risk management, audit processes, legal and tax matters, process alignment, and improvement are highly valued.
  • Knowledge and proficient experience with Microsoft Office Systems, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of SAP, Great Plains, or similar software programs, as well as logistics and accounting software.
  • Proficiency in English is required. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as processes, procedures, tax code, and specific service reports and documents. Effectively communicate ideas, both written and verbally, to customers, management, or employees of the organization.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret accounting records, commercial contracts, bank statements, general office procedures, and tax returns. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and margins. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
