About the Role
">This Senior FP&A Opex Analyst position at Warner Bros. Discovery presents a unique opportunity to leverage your analytical skills, technical expertise, and passion for finance to drive business growth and improvement.
">Main Objectives
">- Lead OPEX analyses across managed functions to enhance understanding, identify opportunities, and inform strategic decisions.
- Support month-end close activities, including accruals/deferrals and actual result validation.
- Develop variance analysis to explain actual and forecasted performance of managed markets/regions compared to prior year/plan/prior forecast.
- Work with finance business partners to create forecasts/budgets for managed functions, reviewing and validating their submissions, and providing assessment and recommendations for OPEX and capital drivers.
- Create/maintain self-service reports, develop ad-hoc analytics, and support custom presentations.
- Contribute to data governance, system maintenance, and projects, including financial systems support, planning systems maintenance, and allocation model updates.
