The Design System is a critical component of the Digital Product Design organization. As a Product Designer, Design System Specialist, you will work closely with other Product Designers, Software Engineers, and Product Managers to develop and maintain the Design System, ensuring its effective use throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain Design System Library Components, Libraries, and Patterns
- Apply Atomic Design Principles to ensure a cohesive and scalable design system
- Familiarity with Agile Methodologies and Human-centered design
- Socialize the design system across internal organizations and ensure its adoption
- Create a unified, cohesive set of UX and visual guidelines for in-vehicle and mobile products
- Partner and collaborate with Product Designers, Software Engineers, and Product Managers to ensure design quality and consistency
- Care about creating inclusive and accessible products that meet the needs of diverse users
Requirements:
- 4+ Years of experience in UI/UX field
- 2+ Years of experience working on design systems
- Experience designing for multiple platforms (Web, iOS, Android, etc)
- Highly proficient with current design tools (Figma)
- Proficient with current prototyping tools (Protopie)
- Full range of interaction, visual, and prototyping skills
- Excellent presentation and documentation skills
- Excellence in visual design and ability to articulate design rationale
